Career

In 1975, Bosustow started playing football with Perth, and in 1976 and 1977, he was a member of two premiership teams. Following six seasons, Bosustow was signed by Carlton, where he participated in the VFL seasons of 1981, 1982, and 1983. Bosustow departed Carlton to rejoin the Demons after receiving a four-match suspension at the end of the 1983 season. He played in the WAFL from 1984 until his retirement in 1987.

Bosustow was selected on a half-forward flank in Perth’s ‘Team of the Century’ (1899 to 1999) after playing 141 games with the team and kicking 378 goals. Bosustow also kicked 17 goals in eight Western Australia state games.
