Career
Esther Povitsky began studying comedy in Chicago, specifically at iO Chicago and The Second City, before becoming well-known as a comic.
Following that, this sports fan relocated to Los Angeles and took a comedy class with The Groundlings.
In 2008, she made her first uncredited appearance in The Express: The Ernie Davis Story, which was followed by appearances in many short films, including April (2010) and All In All (2011).
During that year, Esther had her first television appearance on Jimmy Kimmel! Live! as a guest for only three programs.
Despite this, she continued to grow her career by appearing in New Girl (2011), Daddy Knows Best (2012), and Parks & Recreation (2013).
She then came back to another show, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (2013) and also Last Call with Carson Daly (2013).
Two years later, Esther made her short movie, Alone Together (2015).
For that movie, she became the main actress, the screenwriter, and also the producer, which later was adapted for Freeform.
