In 2005, Pezzella joined the youth setup of Club Atlético River Plate after representing Club Olimpo. Pezzella on 7 December 2011 made her senior debut match ended in a 1-0 for the side in Copa America. On 10 December 2014, Pezzella scored the winning goal in a 2–0 Copa Sudamericana final win over Atlético Nacional.
