Career
Carpani’s most well-known performance was as Jodi Fountain in the Australian television series McLeod’s Daughters. Carpani also starred in All Saints in the movie Hating Alison Ashley, which starred Delta Goodrem. Carpani and Delta Goodrem attended The Hills Grammar School.
In order to further her career in the US, Carpani quit McLeod’s Daughters. She and Janeane Garofalo were cast in the CBS pilot Law Dogs, but the show was not taken up. In the first season of Cane, she made seven appearances. On January 31, 2009, Rachael made a comeback to McLeod’s Daughters as Jodi Fountain for the show’s last episode.

Carpani made a commercial appearance as a spokesperson for Telstra’s Next G network. In November 2009, she had a brief appearance alongside Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J in the sixth episode of NCIS: Los Angeles. She played opposite her ex-real-life lover Matt Passmore in a recurring role on The Glades in 2010. In 2011, she started starring in the crime drama Against the Wall.
Carpani starred in two TV movies in 2015: If There Be Thorns and Seeds of Yesterday on the Lifetime cable network. These movies are the third and fourth in the Flowers in the Attic TV film series, which is based on V.C. Andrews’ Dollanganger novel series.
